100km challenge on boxing day

In March this year, some of us spent 6 hours to cover 80km of NTU Bike Rally, we are taking part again next year. Hope all of us can complete 128km this time. To run-in for the event, let's start training leisurely now. 8 hours to cover 100km should be achievable. Ride as far as you can, if not, there is always a cab!
Date: 26 December 2009
Meeting place: Potong Pasir MRT
Ending place: Jln Besar
Start Time: 4 pm
End Time: about 12.30am
Bikes: Brompton, Birdy, IF Reach, Swissbike, Paratrooper, Bike Friday, ORI and any folding bike with multiple gears!
Attire: Wear your helmets and come with front and back lights. Load yourself with carbo and plenty of water before ride we will take light food breaks along the way. Supper will be @ katong.

Lavenda MRT--Shanton way--West Coast--Jurong(light food break)--NTU--Lim Chu Kang--Sugei Kadut--Mandai Road--Yishun(tea break)--Seletar--Yeo Chu Kang--Paya Leba--Katong(supper break)--Kallang--Jln Besar
