Dr Janil Puthucheary visited us earlier this year, explaining that he wanted to try daily bike commuting as he was straddling between two hospitals everyday.  He wanted to do some exercise, be able to commute conveniently with a folding bike on the bus and train, if possible, no need to carry his bike as he has a bag too, can roll his bike is a bonus, and have the option to cycle home from work too. Yet, in our conversation, it seemed he was not just interested in the bike, instead he was also interested in us, as people behind Diginexx and was curious how we had started the folding bike business. Grin

We chatted and shared and he left happy with his perfect commuting bike solution - a Brompton!   A few months later, we got an email from Dr Janil asking if he could interview us for a speech.  Only much later, when we met again, were we then told it was for a speech at the People Action's Party Convention.

Here's the speech in full "Turning Challenges into Opportunities" by Dr Janil, who is an assistant professor at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School as well as a consultant at KK Hospital.

Sure can one. Next time bicycles must install in vehicle unit and pay ERP like the rest.  Grin

If they reserve a lane for us with barrier (like what they have in china) so car cannot join in the lane I dont mind.
