Hi Everyone,

I've just purchased the Paratrooper over the weekend. I took it out for a ride on the PCN from Bishan to Kallang on Sunday night, really enjoyed the ride.

Hope to meet up with you guys for group rides!

Hi there. My dad and I dropped by Diginexx last Thursday and he got himself a Black Strida 5.

The Strida rides well and seems to be able to take on kerbs with rigid strength

Disc brakes offer great power with a neat clean look that pairs along well with the structure of Strida.

The folding is an innovation.

Thumbs up for Diginexx's service.  Wink

Hi All,

This is Mike. I visited Diginexx this afternoon looking for Birdy, but ended up buying a Brompton P6R as the folding is simply World-class!

Sorry if this post does not belong here but how does one edit their own profile? I've read the instructions and have clicked on "Profile" in the main menu but the only actions that that leads to is to delete the account. Thanks.

Hi Dennis, you must not based not in SG?  Regarding the gears, u should seek help from the overseas shop that you got your Brompton from.

Birdy models has up to 24 speed, more sporty looks and they are made of aluminium. When folded they are bulky.
Brompton comes in 2 and 6 speeds in Singapore and this bike is timeless (will not go out of fashion). It has the most compact fold in 16in. wheel category. You just need to get use of its shifter.
As for speed, they are about similar as I have own these bikes, and Brompton frame is made of steel.Btw I still have the Brompton with me, the Birdy, it flew away.

If u r planning to go fast, foldie should not be considered.  Roadie would be a better choice Grin

Anyway, walk into shop & check it out.  U might be surprised.  In addition, online price & local price are not comparable.  There are certain customise spec included in bike sold locally.
