If you plan to cycle from point A to B, it does not exlude you from getting off the bike and walk with pedestrian during the heavy pedestrian traffic at some part of your travel, right? Smiley
It is also a good time to let some blood flowing at the crotch area. hahaha. Grin

Hi everyone,

I did not buy any bike. I have a red and black brompton which I dug out from my storeroom. It was brought back from UK think in 1991 so its around 18 years old. Think the guys at Diginexx will know cos I brought it there and bought some replacement schwalbe marathons, replaced the spokes, etc. I've somewhat restored it to its former glory with lots of brasso (but still got some areas quite tarnished/rusty/colour faded/etc).

I'm looking forward to joining you guys for future rides.

Cheers!

Hi guys!

Just got myself an IF Reach as a birthday present to myself a few hours ago. Hoping to build up some semblance of stamina, and then will pick a time to join in for a group ride. Will need to arrange all the necessary addenda (lights, camera, helmet!) too before that. Can't wait!

Cheers!

Hi all
i am a newbie from Indonesia, just bought an orange strida last week, after several weeks just dreaming to have one  Grin
Its an amazing bike, totally different experience than an MTB / ordinary folding bike.
Love the way of fold, unfold and huge my strida when I have to ride public transport, feels really good to do it without disturbing other people like other bike / folding bike do
the only cons is the single speed  Cry

Dont worry you will get over the single speed soon as slow ride means you can enjoy the nice view more. Just dont go into unknown neighborhood with plenty of stray dogs. LOL

Hi everyone, just got my first Birdy from Diginexx this morning. Bought a black Strida back 2 mths ago and that served my intermodal transportation needs very well. So decided to get another foldie purely for leisurely long rides. Was pleasantly surprised at the Inter 8's shade of red as i expected it to be lighter from the pics. The actual cherry shade of red loooks very classy indeed! Got back and took it for a 8 click test run and boy can this baby sprint. Initially i was skeptical of the non-existent looking F/R suspension but i experienced a very comfy ride. In fact, i find its performance comparable if not better than my 24 speed GT hardtail due to its compact and rigid frame. I'm glad the hefty price tag was well justified! Highly recommended. Looking forward to Birdy group rides. Thanx Steven for making the necessary adjustments and the chop chop demos! Grin

Just got my Strida 5 matt black from Steven last week. Many thanks to Rex!

Since this is my first bike, I'm very excited. Haven't add any accessories yet but planning to since I enjoyed riding it over the weekend. Any recommendation?

I stay in Woodlands and my workplace is in Tampines. Only way for me to enjoy my Strida more is take the public bus to Ikea Tampines and cycle from there to work near Tampines bus interchange. Thinking of getting the Strida bag to "sneak" in the bike during peak hours. Btw the bus is always not full. Like now, there is still empty seats. Think it's a good idea?

Looking forward to joining everyone in future rides.
